News from Okinawa

First, we want to thank for your support and cooperation in remaining  and working  together for the present and the future of the WMKA. As you all know, the WMKA Dojo Owner License is not a permanent license. You must renew it every year based on the Dojo Owner Agreement. If you don’t renew it, you will lose your license.

The current Dojo Owners respect and follow the teaching of Soke and value the Traditional Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate-Do without any modification and are passing it down to future generations.

I am sure you have noticed that the Dojo Owners are listed on the WMKA Website Dojo pages starting with Australia, and followed by  New Zealand, Canada, Norway, Germany, Spain, Ireland and the United States of America. The Okinawan dojo owners are shown as well. These are the Dojo Owners who have received a Dojo Owner Licence issued by President Yoshitaka Taira after the passing away of Soko Nagamine on April 25, 2012.

WMKA authorized dojo owners are only those whose photos are shown on this website’s dojo pages according to country or state. Please refer to the WMKA Dojo listing pages on this website for detailed information about each authorized Dojo Owner.

Sincerely Yours,
Riki Nomura from Okinawa
