Dear all WMKA Dojo Owners,
I am sure all members are healthy and pursuing karate practice in your own countries. It is very hot in Okinawa. How is it in your countries ?
The passing away of Soke Takayoshi Nagamine is a great loss not only to Nagamine Family, but also to all WMKA members around the world. We started to discuss what the best way to continue and work with overseas members after the end of his mourning period. I want to ask your cooperation based on our process, please.
This time, I want you to cooperate two items on this letter.
First,I want you to submit a short confirmation letter to Okinawa Headquarters stating that you will be a member of WMKA based on the contract with Soke under the World Matsubayashi-ryu (Shorin-ryu) karate-do Association Agreement with Dojo Owners”. I want to know you well and have contact with you like Soke did. To follow his procedure, I want you to write down the information in your letter such as ①Dojo Owner’s full name ②Dojo name ③Rank ④Postal mailing address ⑤Email address ⑥About how long you are in WMKA or how long you are practicing Matsubayashi-ryu Karate-do ⑦Any other things that you want to add ⑧Any question to Okinawa Headquarters etc. by August 15,2012. I am asking you this just because I want to work with you closely for the future prosperity of Matsubayashi-ryu Karate-do. But all dues still should be held for a while.
Second, I want your advanced notice letter when you come to Okinawa. We will welcome and host those of you who come to Okinawa to practice karate as Soke Takayoshi Nagamine actively did. Though Soke hosted you by himself, no Dojo owner can host you alone. Dojo owners will have to share the burden to host you from overseas. Therefore, we will have to adjust Dojo owners schedules based on your schedule in Okinawa.
