Arakaki sensei will be teaching a karate-do seminar in Harrington Australia from October 26 to 30 (five-days) at both Mr. John Carlyle and Mr. Reece Cummings’ Dojos. This will be his first karate-do seminar given overseas, but the second from Okinawa headquarters since the passing away of Soke T. Nagamine (refer to Shinjo sensei’s Ireland visit below). Arakaki sensei will leave Okinawa on October 25th and come back on 31st.
If you need more detailed information about the seminar, you can contact both Dojo Owners in Australia.

2.    Karate-Do seminar with Hanshi Kiyoshi Shinjo 9th dan in Ireland
Shinjo sensei also taught a karate-do seminar at Mr. Martin O’Malley’s Dojo in Ireland from August 11 to 15th(five-days). It was the first karate-do seminar for him and for Okinawa Headquarters since the passing away of Soke Takayoshi Nagamine in April last year. The seminar was sponsored by Mr. O’Malley, was successfully completed by Shinjo sensei and everyone was satisfied the outcome of the seminar.
If you need more detail information about the seminar, you can contact with Mr. Martin O’Malley in Ireland.

3.  Official procedure to invite teachers from Okinawa.
If you want to invite a teacher from Okinawa, please submit a letter to President Yoshitaka Taira stating your draft schedule of the seminar. As we are now working on the “Memorial Karate-Do Seminar and Exchange Demonstration 2014 for Soke Takayoshi Nagamine in Okinawa”. We may not be able to grant your request but will discuss it and send you back our decision including future consideration.

4.  Official procedure to visit Okinawa for karate practice.
We always welcome you and want to host your karate practice in Okinawa based on your schedule. But we always need a letter from you addressed to President Yoshitaka Taira about your schedule. Even if your students want to visit Okinawa only by themselves, we still need you to send an introduction letter for your students.

Thank you very much. We are always expecting your karate trips to Okinawa.

Sincerely Yours,

President Yoshitaka Taira
