Dear WMKA Dojo Owners,
We hope that you have arranged your schedule for the events and are ready to submit your final application. Please refer to the due date and the sample formats for the events. We are expecting to see you and your students in Okinawa at the events. You can also meet many WMKA members from around the world.
1. Application due date for the participation; July 31, 2014 The sooner the better !
Please fill out the names of all participants as in the sample format and submit it to Okinawa by the due date. Participation fees for the events ( Karate-do seminar, Exchange Demonstration & Exchange Party) will be 20,000 yen. The fees will cover 3-days of lunches with soft drinks as well as food and drinks (including alcoholic drinks) at the Exchange Party on the last evening. If you only attend the Exchange Demonstration and Exchange Party, the fees will be 10,000 yen. The fees will be free for boys & girls including spouse who don’t attend the seminar but will be with husband during the events.
2. Application due date for the Kata Demonstration; July 31, 2014 The sooner the better !
Please select one kata to perform at the Exchange Demonstration and submit it in Sample Kata Demonstration Format.
3. Application due date for the Dan promotion test ; July 31, 2014 The sooner the better !
Please submit the “WMKA Request for Dan Certificate” application for members who want to take the Dan Promotion Test in Okinawa. However, you don’t need to pay the fees now but instead will pay them after the test in Okinawa. Please refer to the Dan promotion test requirements and fees in previous Website Announcements.

<Remarks>
1. We want you to understand that we have to give 2nd kata priority to Dojos who have more participants.
Nevertheless, we can’t promise you that you can perform the 2nd kata at the events. We will know how many Dojos will attend at the Memorial events only after July 31th. But we will try to include the 2nd kata if we have time during the Exchange Demonstration.

3. If you want to practice karate before or after the memorial events, please give us
your schedule including your karate practice option. The option will be karate practice
once a day or twice a day. We will discuss it at the Dojo Owners meeting on how to host your
karate practice in Okinawa.
