Dear WMKA Dojo Owners,
It is deep regret and sadness that we have to announce “The Last Joint Karate Practice in the Nagamine Honbu Dojo”, which has been arranged for 3pm on December 15, 2013. The Nagamine family has mentioned that Mr. Bunshiro Nagamine 2nd dan, Soke’s son and an elementary school teacher, is still thinking of continuing the Dojo somehow.
However, although we do not have any detailed information about this now, we will post the information regarding this when we have it.
This is double shock for us. The first shock was the passing away of Soke last year and now this is the second shock to all WMKA members around the world. We do our best here in Okinawa and also ask that all WMKA members unite and cooperate to overcome the current difficult situation. I think it is our obligation to continue and preserve both Grand Master Shoshin Nagamine’s and 2nd Soke Takayoshi Nagamine’s honor and their legacy for future generations.
I sincerely expect to see you and your students in Okinawa to make a success of “The Memorial karate-Do seminar and exchange demonstration 2014 for Soke Takayoshi Nagamine in Okinawa” next year.
